A Japanese martial arts term literally defined as "receiving body or self", it is the art of knowing how to respond correctly and safely to an attack. It is also often interpreted as "the art of falling".

Here we go! Circus artists Celeste Bliss and Paul Zuker are collaborating with Ukemi to present an hour of music, aerials, contortion, and mixed media art.
Celeste and Ukemi have been creating together since 2011 and are excited to present this live performance.
The performance is FREE and appropriate for all ages. 8-9:00 pm
